THE VANISHING POINT
A Novel by Brad Trew
Every case leaves a mark. Some tear you apart.
Detective Nathan Kessler has built his legacy on reading crime scenes like open books—pulling meaning from blood spatter, dust patterns, and silence. But when a string of meticulously staged murders shakes the city, the patterns go quiet. No links between the victims. No motive. Just a chilling signature that suggests careful planning… and an intimate knowledge of investigative procedure.
The deeper Kessler digs, the more the case resists. Evidence vanishes. Leads dissolve. His instincts falter. And the mounting pressure from the department begins to weigh heavier than ever before.
As the investigation escalates, so do Kessler’s doubts—about the case, his colleagues, and even his own past. Old wounds reopen. Long-buried memories resurface. And with each new discovery, Kessler begins to wonder:
Is he chasing the killer—or is the killer chasing him?
Gripping, atmospheric, and unrelentingly tense, The Vanishing Point is a psychological crime thriller about legacy, obsession, and the dangerous cost of forgetting what you’re capable of.

Ghosts of Glenbeigh
Time forgets. The land doesn’t…
When a body is pulled from the peatlands outside Glenbeigh—a windswept village on Ireland’s Ring of Kerry—most assume it’s just another Iron Age relic, preserved in silence beneath the moss. But this one walked these roads not long ago. Some even remember his name.
Then more follow—some ancient, some suspiciously fresh—all exhumed from bogland that seems to stir with each new moon. Graves in the churchyard are found disturbed, coffins split, bodies missing. The dead are returning, but not how anyone expected.
Detective Inspector Finn Lynch, reluctantly back in the village she swore never to revisit, finds herself caught between folklore and forensics and surrounded by wary townsfolk who know better than to disturb the old ground. They speak of Viking sacrifices. Of debts unpaid. Of the bog choosing when—and whom—to give back.
Science can explain some of it. The preservation. The trauma. The layers of time compressed in peat. But not the timing. Not the placement. Not why the faces feel familiar. Because in Glenbeigh, memory clings like mist, and the land has a long, dark memory of its own.
GHOSTS OF GLENBEIGH is a haunting, atmospheric thriller where superstition bleeds into science, and the past is anything but dead.
Where She Went
Some girls vanish. Others never leave.
Emma Donnelly was the kind of girl who lit up a room. Sharp-witted, loyal, and full of life. But one morning, in the quiet mountain town of Thistlewood, nestled against Alberta’s rugged foothills, she simply didn’t show up. No note. No trace. No reason. The town hadn’t seen a disappearance in decades, and no one believed it could happen again.
As search teams comb the dense woods and lakeshores, Emma’s twin brother Liam is left behind with a growing sense that something isn’t right—not with the investigation, not with the town, and not with what he remembers. Especially when a forgotten case from years ago begins to sound eerily familiar. Especially when, years later, Emma’s social media suddenly comes alive with a new post.
As the lines blur between memory, myth, and something much darker hiding beneath the forest canopy, WHERE SHE WENT unravels a haunting mystery of small-town secrets, sibling bonds, and the impossible lengths we go to for those we love.
